NEW: USHJA Hunter Classic

Friday September 17th at 7:00 pm                                              Adding to the excitement this year will be a USHJA $10,000 National Hunter Classic. With fences set at 3’, with 3’3 option, this class is open to all exhibitors.

ASPCA Maclay Regional Finals

Saturday September 18th at 5:00 pm                                               We are proud to once again host the ASPCA Maclay Regional Finals.
Based on a percentage established by the Maclay organization, the top riders from the Saint Louis National Charity Horse show will qualify to participate in the National Maclay Finals, held in late fall at the National Horse Show in Syracuse, NY.

Grand Prix

Sunday September 19th at 1:00 pm                                                Kick back, relax and watch the Grand Prix in style with friends. Whether you would like to enjoy a casual BBQ lunch with a cash bar and informal seating, or tailgate with your friends ringside for an up close and personal view of the Grand Prix, join us for an exciting afternoon watching top-level riders and their horses compete for $25, 000 in prize money. Tailgate spots are $200 and the BBQ lunch is $10 per person.

Saddlebred Information

September 22nd - 26th, 2010

The ASB portion of our show combines the impressive Saddlebred stars, in the  5-Gaited, 3-Gaited and Fine Harness divisions for shown by both Amateur riders and Professional Trainers with a showcase for the American Saddlebred Pleasure Horse. We are host to the American Saddlebred Horse Associations Region 5 Championships featuring top horses and riders in 20 divisions from Missouri, Kansas and Illinois.  The $5,000 RS Palmer Five-Gated Stake is a top feature of the closing performance on Saturday evening.  St. Louis is also unique in presenting a Saddlebred Over Fences class where hunt seat riders compete over a hunter course usually seen only in Hunter/Jumper shows as well as Trail Classes for Western horses.

Saddle and Bridle Pleasure Horse Championships

Saturday September 25th                                                                  With the combined sponsorship of the Horse Show and Saddle and Bridle Magazine, St. Louis presents six World and National Championships for ASB Pleasure Horses climaxed Saturday night by the spectacular Shatner World Championship for Western Pleasure Horses.  The National Equitation Finals for the Saddle and Bridle Pleasure Medallions present a demanding challenge to the riding skills of young riders.

Sunday September 26th                                                                         For the first time we will he holding the Midwest Regional Academy Championships.  That competition, for riders at the lesson-program level.  Details are in the prize list.
