Welcome to the 30th annual
St. Louis National Charity Horse Show - 2007

I would like to thank everyone for the continued and wonderful support of the St. Louis National Charity Horse Show.  Thirty years of tradition has made this a memorable equestrian event in the St. Louis area as well as featuring and highlighting a variety of national equestrian finals, including world champion competitors and horses.

We are thrilled to welcome back Budweiser, sponsor of the Budweiser $25,000 Grand Prix and honored to once again host the prestigious ASPCA Maclay Regional Finals during the Hunter Jumper Show.  Additionally, there are many other exciting activities during the Saddlebred week including the Saddle & Bridle Pleasure Medallion Finals, the Shatner Western Finals, the America’s Cup Championship for Adult Equitation, the ASHA Junior Exhibitor Driving Challenge, and a Grand National Country Hunter Pleasure Championship, just to mention a few.  St. Louis National Charity Horse Show is also proud to once again be named a 2007 ASHA Regional Championship Show for Region 5. Additionally, the St. Louis National Charity Horse Show was named the 2006 UPHA Chapter 5 Show of the Year as well as a 2006 MHSA Star Show.

We are thrilled to have the St. Louis National Charity Horse Show once again benefit the Humane Society of Missouri’s Longmeadow Rescue Ranch. Specializing in rescuing and rehabilitating large animals, with a concentration on horses, Longmeadow represents a great fit for us.  It is one of a handful of facilities in the country equipped to house and nurse back to health large numbers of starving and abused horses and other animals.  Then they work to place these healthy animals in loving homes.  There will even be a “Parade of Animals” during the horse show with adoptable animals on-site looking for new homes!

If you haven’t already done so, please consider making a donation to our charity.  Any amount is welcome and appreciated.  I know that the safe haven Longmeadow provides our less fortunate equine friends touches everyone in the horse community.

Once again, thank you for supporting our show and enjoy your time at the "Charity."

Sincerely,

Joni Friesen
